How to install your pool at home step by step?

Here, we'll tell you how to install your pool step by step so you can cool off with your family without any hassle.

1. Find the perfect place

The first step is choosing the right location. We recommend an area:

Flat and stable.
Sunny most of the day.
Away from trees and roots that could contaminate the water or damage the base.

Also, make sure you have a water supply nearby and, if possible, a power outlet for the filtration system.

2. Prepare the ground well

This step is key to a safe and long-lasting installation:

Remove stones, branches, roots and anything else sticking out of the ground.
Level the ground. You can use fine sand or compacted gravel to help.
Place a protective mat (you'll find several models at Juego y Jardín) to prevent the liner from being damaged.

3. Assembly of the structure

Whether it's a tubular, freestanding, or above-ground pool, follow the manufacturer's instructions and do not force the parts:

Start with the outer structure (the tubes, if it is a tubular one).
If your pool is self-supporting, inflate the top ring before filling it.
Make sure everything is secure and level.

4. Place the liner correctly

The liner is the inner canvas that contains the water. To install it properly:

Leave it in the sun for a few minutes before installing it (it will gain flexibility).

5. Fill the pool… and check it!

During filling:

Check that the structure remains firm and level.
Adjust if you see anything crooked or out of place.
Fill it completely only when everything is perfect.

6. Install the filtration system

Good filtration keeps water clean for longer:

Connect the filter (cartridge or sand) following the instructions.
Make sure the hoses are securely fastened.
Perform a long first filtration to leave the water perfect from the first bath.

7. Enjoy, but don't forget maintenance

To keep your pool always ready for a dip:

Use water treatment products (you can find them in our store).
Cover the pool when not in use.
Install a safe staircase and, if there are little ones, consider barriers or alarms.
